Wynn Macau Grand Opening

MACAU - American Luxury Gaming Resort Designer and Developer, Stephen Wynn commissioned Fireworks by Grucci to produce the fireworks entertainment for his Grand Opening evening of the Wynn Macau on September 5, 2006. The $1.2 billion lush property, including the sleek main tower with a sloping roof, the low rise portion of the building, the entire front facade of the tower, a 800,000 gallon Wet Design Water Fountain Feature, and one mile of shoreline just behind the property were the stage for Fireworks by Grucci to perform.
Grucci creates a dynamic Fire Curtain waterfall.
Utilizing custom designed and manufactured pyrotechnics from the United States along with a worldwide supply network, Grucci created the opening sequence with an exclusive Silver Fire Curtain Waterfall. The closing finale included an animated fire-etching of Wynn's famous signature on the entire front facade of the building. The Wynn Macau Grand Opening was enjoyed by both the worldwide media and VIP guests present at the gala opening ceremonies.
Sixty-five pyrotechnicians worked for nine days, challenged by the typhoon season, foreign logistics, numerous compliance requirements by the Macau and Mainland China Governments, as well as the complex rigging and installation of thousands of special effect pyrotechnics and high aerial shells. The determination of a talented Grucci team produced a display which was many times quoted as being "...over the top with energy!"		In China, the color red is greatly admired.

Stephen Wynn, a loyal customer of the Grucci family, has exclusively commissioned Fireworks by Grucci for all of his Grand Opening and Special Event Fireworks Displays, including benchmark shows in Las Vegas for the Golden Nugget, Mirage, Treasure Island, Dunes Implosion and Bellagio.
